"E Trade Securities: 1099 forms not avaialble for user" Huh????

Same issue here.  Just tried (2/15).  I also received emails from E*Trade saying my forms were available.  I can download the forms but when I go to import them into E*Trade it gives me the same error (no forms available)

I am having same issue and here it is 2/15.  I am not a day trader, so I don't have a lot of transactions.   I have been using both E*Trade and Turbo tax for decades and this is a first.

Posting to make sure Turbo Tax is aware of frustration.

Do we know if this is for sure a Turbo Tax problem or an E*Trade issue ?

Knowing I'm not alone in my frustrations makes me slightly less frustrated ! 😞 

Just got off the phone with a TurboTax representative, she apologized for delay of 1099 from Etrade; there is NO information as to when feature will be fixed. However it IS a TURBOTAX issue not a Etrade issue.

Same problem on Feb15th. This is my last year with Turbotax. The program has gone to S*@t over the past few years.

Ditto, 2/015/2023 and E*Trade download is still not available.

Confirmed, still not available as of 10:00 a.m. MST; based on what I've read from other posters, and the admission by Intuit that they don't have an ETA on when this will be resolved it may be foolish to hold off filing manually.

I had relatively few trades, so entering by hand was not a huge deal, definitely sympathetic to those who have a large number of trades, and spent the extra money to get TurboTax for this specific functionality. 

Thankfully, H&R Block and others can consume historical TurboTax files to make the transition easier.  

I would say its an etrade problem but I can be wrong. I am really getting pissed at this point. First it was feb 12...then the 15...now its still not working. I have to say its etrade because the message I get says there are no documents available for my account. So its actually logging into my etrade acct. My 1099 has been on etrade since the 10th. I called both places and they ha e no records of any problems. I find that hard to believe with all these posts online. 

I just spoke to an etrade tech support rep and he said they are aware of the issue and said the eta is 2/16 now. He offered some other ways to upload like uploading via jpg but I don't see that option on for 1099s, on the Div and Int. I guess I will give it another day because I really don't feel like going line by line.

Chatting with E-trade Customer Service says "turbotax has a major problem and should be resolved by 2/18."  That's all he knew.

But I think it's E-trade because reading solutions from their site on how to "download tax documents into tax preparation software", it says to click on 1099 download button and then can upload into turbotax.  When I clicked on the little down arrow all I got after quite a bit of time was a blank screen on another URL.  So I would guess E-trade isn't showing the document to TurboTax. When I questioned that with chat guy, he said I would need to talk with Tech guys.  I quit at that point and came here.  

Today is the 15th of February and still receiving message "1099 not available for this user" ugh. LOL. tell me I'm not going to have to enter these documents myself...line by line? Am I in a nightmare? Can anyone expound on this phenomenon for me?
