I own a two-family property. It is one parcel, so I treat it as one property on my Schedule E rather than two separate properties (i.e. I combine income and expenses for both sides). One side was occupied all year, the other side was vacant all year while undergoing full rehab. How do I answer the "Number of Fair Rental Days" question on Schedule E?
