For an asset tied to my rental property that I deprecate how do I include repair expense?

Asset cost was $30,000 and Repair this year was $2400

If the asset is used as part of your rental property, enter the repair expense in the 'repairs' category of expenses.  You do not need to distinguish what was being repaired, the property itself or an asset used as part of the rental.
