Forgot to include monies received from social security in 2024 tax return for my wife and I.  My tax return was accepted by the IRS  yesterday.  What do I do now?

Wait until the IRS is done processing your return.  It is possible that the IRS will catch your mistake while they are processing the return and send you a letter of correction letting you know they fixed it and the actual amount you have to pay in or if you are getting a refund. If you receive this letter, there will be instructions on the next steps to take.

If they don't catch both omissions, then you will need to Amend Your Return

Wait. The IRS is likely to catch this and adjust your return accordingly. however, should you actually get the refund based on what you filed, then you'll have to file an amended return. you could try calling the IRS to alert them.
