Question

Form 1116 is supposed to be working, but I can't file because it says line 30 must be blank. (It is.) I have an FTC of $104, and a carryover from previous years. Help?

There are two worksheets, this year's FTC of $104 and previous year's carryover of $2500 or so. Advice on the help site from another year seems to indicate I shouldn't be filing 1116. But will I lose the carryover if I do that?
