Question

Hello, I filed my 2020 tax using self employed and I used home deduction as part for tax deduction. It didn’t ask me to upload expense document like rent, utilities etc.

Any idea where to submit these documents to avoid any audit.

You do not include documents to verify your expenses for a tax deduction with your tax return.  You should retain all documents for all deductions/expenses so that you have proof if every questioned by the IRS.

Keep all your tax-related documents for at least 3 years (6 is better).

Keep anything related to the home office deduction (especially depreciation and improvements) for as long as you own the house plus 3 or 6 years after you sell.
