Hello, I see a capital gain tax for 2019 as some 8500 and I have around 10k capital loss carryover from last year. But I fell it is not being applied. How to checl

If you used TurboTax last year, your Capital Loss Carryover should be automatically entered for you.

 

To check, type 'carryover' in the Search area, then click on 'Jump to carryover'.

 

You can review the Capital Loss Carryover Worksheet in your return to see the calculations.

Also keep in mind that depending on what that carry over loss is for, you may be limited to the maximum $3000 that you can deduct each year too. So that would leave an additional amount to carry over to 2020.
