Your living expenses are not part of your tax return.

You enter all of your taxable income that you received and were reported to you on a Form W-2 or a Form 1099 on a tax return.

Go to this TurboTax website to start a 2023 tax return using the online editions - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/file-your-own-taxes/

Are you having trouble to pay for Turbo Tax?   In the regular Turbo Tax Free Edition, information that you can enter is very limited now. Why do I have to upgrade from the Free Edition?

Or you might qualify for the IRS Free File

Or you can download the blank forms for free and fill them out by hand and mail your return.

Or do you have a tax due?  If you have income like W2 or SSDI on a SSA-1099 consider having more tax withholding taken out of each check so you don't end up owing on your tax return.
