Question

How and where to report stock losses traded in foreign country? Turbo tax is prompting 1099-B form for stocks and don't have any other relevant choices to choose from.

If you do not have a 1099B, pretend like you do. You don't need a 1099B to report your foreign stock transactions as long as you have other pertinent data to complete the interview. To complete, you will need buy and sell dates, beginning basis, sales proceeds etc.

To enter, Go to federal>wages and income>investment income>stocks, bonds, other.
