How can I file forms 3800 and 3468 using TurboTax Business Edition. for a 1041 using Trust?

This is related to credits for Solar PV installation on rental property per

You can prepare Form 3800 in Forms Mode (start with the worksheet), but the 1041 module in TurboTax Business does not support Form 3468.

That was the secret.  I had to enter forms mode first, then go to Schedule G line 2b and make an entry.

But one mystery remains.  This is rental property, thus passive, which TT already knows.

Box B can't be selected in From 3800 Part III:

As well the amount had to be forced with an override in the "General Business Credit" worksheet:

What's up with that?

Yes, it appears as if you have to do an override on both Line 1 of the worksheet and Box B of Form 3800.

Frankly, the 1041 module in the product is rather basic and intended for relatively simple returns, particularly in Step-by-Step mode.
