I have 24,000 is capital gain/loss from the sale of an investment property. Home do I add the $3,000 loss to my return

If you used TurboTax to prepare your 2023 tax return, then your carryover amount will be automatically reported as part of your 2024 tax return.  Otherwise, use the steps in the following TurboTax help article to navigate to the area where you will enter your amounts.  The information on the screen will tell you exactly which forms and lines from your 2023 tax return to enter for the carryover amounts.
