How do I change information on a Form 1099-DIV Worksheet?

The form wants me to enter the correct zip code for the state entered, but it is the state that is incorrect. How do I change the state?

Yes, you can return to the 1099-DIV screen and correct the state. This is how to do that:

 

 

  1. Open your return and select Federal on the left side menu.
  2. Select Wages & Income.
  3. Scroll down and find Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto), click  Edit/ Add to the right.
  4. Find the 1099-DIV you need to correct. 
  5. Expand it by clicking the down arrow to the right. 
  6. Click the gray Edit box. 
  7. Correct the information here.
