Question

How do I deduct Home Office for an LLC involved in Rental Property

I have filled out Schedule E for Rental Property.  All rental properties are owned by my LLC.  I believe this LLC for rental properties is considered a "shadow LLC".  All business is conducted in my Home Office. A room in my home is used 100% for my business.  Where do I deduct partial use of my home for business.

Thanks for your guidance, but I was not able to get a deduction.  All my profit and loss in the rental properties was claimed in Schedule E (needed for house depreciation).  How do I get to depreciated my rental houses using Schedule C so I can claim office deduction found in Schedule C?

To deduct your home office expenses enter home office in the search box and click on Jump to home office in the results box.

Follow the program prompts to enter your home office information.  TurboTax will automatically populate the correct forms with your home office information.
