How do I enter "Return of capital for fractional shares or cash in lieu", it doesn't appear in the dropdown box of allowed responses?

Return of capital is giving you back some fraction of your original investment and thereby reduces your cost basis in the fractional share. (And all the other shares, too.) It wouldn't be one of the dropdown responses. Please let me know where that particular question came up as I'm not seeing it in the regular 1099-B stock sales dialogue. In the interim, I suspect that question generally is interested in whether the original asset was inherited, in which case it is always treated as long term.
