Arkansas, like many states, does not allow for certain deductions that are allowed on your federal tax return, and in the case of capital losses, this would include bonus or special depreciation on assets used in a business.

If you did not claim any special depreciation on business assets, then your Arkansas capital loss would probably be the same as your federal capital loss. It can be found on line 6 of your federal form 1040.

You can view your form 1040 while on the desktop version of TurboTax as follows:

1. Find the "Tax Tools" option on your left menu bar and click on it

2. Click on "Tools"

3. Click on "View Tax Summary"

4. On the left menu bar see the option "Preview my 1040" and click on it to view form 1040 and schedule 1 to 3
