Question

How do I remove the schedule E with an old rental property off of my State return when it is not on my Federal?

The automated help says there should be a delete button after pressing "edit" in the state return, but there is none. And when I check my Federal, there is no Rental/Royalties section.

If you are using TurboTax online follow the instructions in this FAQ to remove a form. 

 

Be certain that you have properly disposed of your Schedule E property from the Federal return. If the disposal took place in a prior year, use the FAQ link above to remove any lingering federal forms or worksheets that might be triggering forms on your state return.
