How much capital gains tax do I owe to Michigan if I moved mid-year?

I moved from Michigan to Washington in July 2017. In December I received a capital gains distribution from a mutual fund I owned all year. When filing my Michigan taxes, do I owe capital gains taxes on:

(a.) The entire amount since I owned the mutual funds while a Michigan resident

(b.) The fraction of the year I lived in Michigan times the entire amount

(c.) Nothing, since the distribution was made after I ended my residency in Michigan

Your investment income is taxed by the state you are living in when you receive the income.

So the capital gains distribution would not be taxable to Michigan.
