How or/and where do I report loses from investments?

You enter the sale of investments (and the resulting gain/loss) by following these steps:

 

  1. In TurboTax, open your tax return
  2. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income
  3. Continue and locate the section Investment Income and click on Show more
  4. Click Start next to Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
  5. Answer Yes to the question: Did you sell any investments?
  6. Follow the TurboTax interview to enter the sale of your investments
**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
