How to Delete Capital gain transaction that was entered erroneously

I erroneously entered a capital gain transaction. Turbo tax will not allow me to delete this item

    The long way is to go into the transaction that you entered and delete all of the words and numbers.  That will remove the transaction.  Don't type zeros or anything.  Just delete the entries and leave them blank.
