Hello, I've cashed in kids' savings Bonds from TreasuryDirect online after holding for a year.  I have two kids under 12 and both received 1099-INT for the cashed bonds.  How do I enter that in TurboTax.  Only my and my spouse' name comes down in drop down when entering a 1099-INT income.

You can use form 8814 to report this (only necessary if interest was greater than $1,300). Here is how to do this in TurboTax Online:

  1. Navigate to Federal > Wages & Income > Less Common Income > Child's Income (Under Age 24) > Start or Revisit
  2. Answer the interview question to report the children's income.
