How/where do I enter capital gains/losses

You can enter capital gains and losses in the investment section of TurboTax. Just go to the investment section and choose what type of investments you need to report. Follow the prompts to enter your information.

 

Go to Wages & Income

  1. Scroll to Investments 
  2. Select Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B)
  3. Answer Yes to "Did you sell any Investments?
  4. Continue with your sales to report capital gains/losses.
