I actively mange rental property but turbo does not reflect that fact--how to fix?

Do you earn commissions and/or charge fees for managing rental properties for owners?

 

Are you a real estate professional who materially participates in your rental property?

Alternatively, I suspect, you are referring to active participation (TurboTax asks you that question in the interview).

Is this rental property you own? Or are you "in the business" of managing rental property for others? I also wonder if you may be confusing active participation with material participation. There is a difference.
