I airbnbed out a room in my house. How do I depreciate it in the "new rental property"section?

How do I depreciate a room as a rental property?

Understand that "you" don't depreciate anything. The program will take care of that "for you" in the background, provided you answer all questions correctly as you work through the Rental & Royalty Income (SCH E) section of the program.

Basically, depreciation is set up in the Assets/Depreciation section of the SCH E part. Not sure that answers your question sufficiently. Perhaps you need to be more specific with your question or word it differently maybe?
