Question

I am using Turbo Tax Premier on a PC. I added income information from my 1099 MISC for oil royalties. I have expenses from Production Taxes. where to enter those?

I did not find a place or opportunity to enter expenses

I'm using the desktop version. I selected the checkbox for "This income is reported on a 1099-MISC and the 1099-MISC has federal or state tax withholding". Then per the "note" that appeared, after entering my income I continued and then selected the "more expenses" button and just worked it through until I was returned to the Summary screen.

On the summary screen I selected Expenses, and one of the boxes presented is labeled "Taxes".
