Question

I bought a home business version of turbo tax software. But I actually just have rental income. I do not have any home business. Can I still use that version of Turbitax?

    Yes, the Home and Business version of TurboTax is great to use for Rental Income and Expenses as well.  

     

    When you install the program and start a return, there will be a Business tab at the top of the screen.  When you go through the information in the Business tab you will find the section for entering your rental property information.
