I have stock losses from years before 2023 that I would like to claim for my taxes in 2024.

I was able to use form 8949 using Turbo Tax in 2023. Form 8949 is not offered to me for 2024. Can you help me? I was unable to forward my 2023 taxes to 2024 taxes. I have had a few problems using Turbo Taxes for 2024 Turbo Taxes. [phone number removed] [removed name]

if you had no security sales in 2024 form 8949 is not needed. the CLCO comes from the Turbotax carryover worksheet and goes directly to Schedule D. The basic version of Turbotax does not allow for security info. you would have to upgrade.
