I have two rental properties set up as enterprises to qualify for QBI. I get a notice that I must adjust. The help reasons don't apply. What do I do?

one is a negative adjustment, the other a positive adjustment. What do I do?

That would happen if you indicated you needed to adjust your qualified business income (QBI) for some reason. You can remove that requirement if you go back though your business entries. You will come to a screen that says Let's cover some uncommon situations and one of the responses is The business income of (amount) needs to be adjusted. You need to uncheck that box.

You could also try entering $0 for one of the adjustment questions. A workaround solution would also be $1 as a negative adjustment to QBI.
