Solved

I just sold a rental proeprty that I have owned for 8 years. How do I estimate my tax basis and capital gain that I will have in 2023?

Ok ... the tax basis is on the depreciation worksheet so if you have not been depreciating the property as you must do then you need to RUN to a local tax pro when filing the next year's return to get this error fixed correctly.

If you have a desktop version of TurboTax you can do a what/if scenario.
