Question

I keep getting a notification that I don't need to enter rent paid on line 6 but when I erase it, it kicks me back and says to enter the rent paid on line 6

What State return are you trying to complete so that we can better help you?  

 

You typically would need to go back into your State Return by following these steps in TurboTax:

  1. While in your Tax Home,
  2. Select State from the left side of your screen,
  3. Select Your State Return from the top screen,
  4. Select Continue or Edit next to your state,
  5. Follow through the on-screen prompts until you can enter your rents paid.

**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
