I live in New Jersey and I received a 1099 - INT for a savings bond I cashed in 2016, do I have to check off any of the boxes?

Yes. when you enter the 1099-INT in Federal taxes, Wages and Income, Interest: there is a question that says something like "not taxable in state."  Check that box.

So I just select New Jersey from the drop down box, but is that the only box I have to check off?
