Question

I lived in my home and in April 2016 leased it out. I put all the numbers in but it does not have anything in the depreciation column. why?

I have listed several assets and the homes value

#1 error on a Sch E ... you entered personal use days incorrectly so it went into the "vacation home rules" where the expenses are limited

#1 reason for the error ... failure to read the screen

#1 fix ... If you converted the home to a rental and you didn't use it personally after that point then your personal use days are ZERO
