Question

I lived in Wyoming for the whole year, but also receive income from a rental house in S.C. While completing info it shows all in income for SC. Is that correct?

To me it should only show income I made in SC as taxable income there, but not sure.  Is there some way to fix that?

Q.  While completing info it shows all in income for SC. Is that correct?

A. Yes. Most states do it that way, for non-residents: they show ALL your income, then do an adjustment so that only your SC income is taxed.

Q.  Is there some way to fix that?

A.  Keep going in the TurboTax (TT) SC software.  TT will complete Schedule NR to allocate your SC income and compute your South Carolina taxable income. https://dor.sc.gov/forms-site/Forms/SchNR_2020.pdf
