Question

I'm getting a "Check this Entry" error regarding the Form 10-99-B Worksheet for Capital Asset sales. Where is it and how do I fix it?

Apparently Turbotax thinks I have an asset sale but I don't

Did you upload or import Form 1099-B from your brokerage? It's possible a capital asset sale was entered from that input. Use the search box (magnifying glass) at the top right of the TurboTax screen, enter "1099-b" then click the Jump-to link to go directly to the start of that topic.

Review all 1099-B entries in this section. You may see "needs review" beside the entry that needs your attention. Delete (trashcan) any sales that are not on the 1099-B you received from the brokerage.
