If the camper van is a wheeled vehicle with a motor, it would be classified as a passenger automobile (truck/van). This asset class is available in TurboTax. The vehicle has a 5-year useful life and there are limits to the amount of depreciation that can be claimed.

A van is distinct from a mobile home, which is classified as residential rental property with a 27.5 year life. The distinction is made because a mobile home is rarely moved and is generally installed at a permanent location.
