Question

I purchased TT Premier CD from Amazon for desktop use. Now I need to know what the federal efiling fee is (if there is one?). This fee should be added to the Itemized entry for Tax preparation costs.

The TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions come with 5 free federal e-filed. There is a state e-file charge that is currently $20 to e-file a state return (except New York state which is free). To avoid the state e-file fee the state return can be printed and mailed.

After the 5 e-files have been used all further tax returns will have to be printed and mailed.
