Question

I sell options and on my 1099 the sold date is before the acquired date. This cause errors in my return. Is there a workaround for this besides manually switching dates?

Get a corrected Form 1099.   The sold date has to be in 2021 to report it on this tax return - and the acquired date must be before the sold date.   If the form has correct dates but it jumbled the dates when you imported it, you can edit what you imported.   Search for 1099-B, use the Jump to 1099-B link and click on Edit next to your form on the summary screen.
