I sold my house and moved into one unit of my duplex mid-year. How do I file??

My situation is a little unique, I don't see many people do what I did. Most people lived in duplex and move out, I actually moved in.

In Income & Expenses, I select Multi-family. I see 2 option that might be applicable to my situation:

1 )Converted Home to rental or rental to home

2) Rented a unit in multi-unit where you live.

Do I select both? or One of the two?

There's a question "Was duplex rented every single day in 2021?" My situation is that...

Unit A: Rented out from 1/1/2021 until I moved into this unit in August.

Unit B: Found renter in 6/19/2021, vacant before that

If I select "No, sometimes it wasn't", there's a question about Fair rented days and personal use days. Again, this is talking about the unit I moved in?

Further down, for 2021 rental income should I enter total for both units I received? I guess I'm just not sure these questions apply to the entire building or just the unit I moved in.

Seems like maybe I need to report each unit as separate entity?

Thank you so much!

Yes, you are going to have to treat each side as separate property. The unit you moved into is a conversion.
