Question

I took my RMD from Fidelity Investments, but did not have them withhold Federal taxes. I made a tax payment to the IRS online. Do I add that payment to my turbo tax?

I'm talking about adding the payment amount to the turbo tax online 1099-R form that is blank.

    No, do not enter it with the 1099R or your amounts will not match.

     

    Go to

    Federal>Deductions and Credits>Estimates and Other Taxes Paid>Other Income Taxes
