Question

In doing my 2024 turbotax, I erased a rental real estate property that was on my return from last year. Is there a way to get it back?

I need to incorporate that property into other state properties I own and report.

If you are using TurboTax Online, you can do one of two things to add your rental property back.  You can manually add it back.  You will need to get your depreciation reports from your 2023 tax return.  You will enter it as if it is the first time you've done so.  Using your 2023 asset/depreciation reports will provide you with the dates, amounts, etc. that you need to enter.  Or, you can clear your return and start over.  By starting over, you will be able to roll last year's return into this year, the same way you did when you started your 2024 return.
