Question
In the state taxes section (California), I have a screen asking "Enter the California capital loss carryover amounts below". Where do I find this info?
Above it says, "You have a capital loss carryover of $XXX on your federal return". I do see Federal Capital Loss Carryforward worksheet in my 2023 returns and XXX matches what I see there. I also looked at California Schedule D (540) form and there is no info on 2023 carryforward there.
