K-1 capital gai/loss is not propagate to Form 8949(Copy 3)

The K-1 Capital Gain/Loss does not have 1099-B . It needs to be propagated into Form 8949(Copy3).

But, the 2024 version of TurboTax does not propagate the K-1 Capital Gain/Loss into 8949(Copy3).

Hence it is not reported into Schedule D.

Can not open From 8949(Copy 3) manually either.

How to get the K-1 Gain/loss into Schedule D?

Thanks.

Are you reporting an IRS Schedule K-1 (1065)?  Or something else?

If you are reporting an IRS Schedule K-1 (1065):

    • Does the IRS Schedule K-1 report a short-term capital gain/loss on in box 8?  Does the gain/loss report on line 5 of the Schedule D Capital Gains and Losses?
    • Does the IRS Schedule K-1 report a long-term capital gain/loss on in box 9a?  Does the gain/loss report on line 12 of the Schedule D Capital Gains and Losses?

Yes, I am reporting form 1065.

After filling all numbers from line 1-to line 20, on the page 3,  the title is

"Passive activity adjustment to Income and loss".  It states that there some short

term and long term loss allowed for this year.

In the past so many years, TurboTax propagated the capital  loss or gain from page 3

to form 8949(copy 3) which is for capital gain/loss without 1099-B. the copy 3 will

    be forwarded to Schedule D.

This year(2024 Turbotax), it ignore the loss/gain on page 3.

It does not create the form8949(copy3) and the loss/gain does not show in

    schedule D.

    I tried to open the form 8949 manually , but only 8949(copy 1) and 8949(copy 2) available.

    Thank you for your help.

I assume this is anew bug in TurboTax. I wonder when will the bug get fixed.
