I am renting out a room in my house. I had damage to my kitchen and bathroom so I did remodeling. In the bathroom I put in a new sink and vanity cabinet and countertop. Can I expense these items?

In my kitchen I put in new cabinets because I was not able to match the old ones. I also put in a new fridge for $4,000 and a new induction range for $2,800 along with new countertops, sink, etc. I was inputing data into Turbotax to claim 25% use because one room of 4 is being rented out. I was intending to spread the deprecation of a number of years rather than a one time deduction. Does anyone know if I am doing this correctly?

Yes.  These are rental furnishings and should be depreciated.  The TurboTax system will input the length of the depreciation for you when you enter the cost and will let you know if you are eligible for bonus depreciation as well.
