Question

Last year TT warned of system error with Rental Properties and Depreciation, including land assets. Does anyone recall and how do I check that my records are accurate?

Had to do with Turbo Tax not carrying over proper values from prior year on Investment Properties, I believe.

@RedSoxFan21 TurboTax usually carryforward information accurately, however if there was some type of system error you can manually verify. You will need to follow the trail by using prior year records. Go back to prior year returns to ensure that the numbers carried over properly each year. If you find errors that may require amending returns, you can amend any return that the original was prepared using TurboTax for Free.
