Does anyone know if filing a late 3115 form for the change in method to accounting open you up to audits for past years? And if so, any understanding on how often this happens and tips for the best way to file?
To be clear, there was a medical emergency that forced us to miss the filing date which is why we are looking to file the 3115 late.
