Question

Maine rent deduction question: It's asking for my landlord's name and number. I only know my property manager's company name. Can I use that instead?

I'm not sure if it's acceptable to put the property management company name and number or if I need the actual owner's information. I don't know where to find that, it's not on my lease.

Neither this Maine Property Tax Fairness Credit Summary nor this Maine Individual Income Tax Booklet pages 2 and 10 address your specific question.

 

I would report the property manager's name,  address and phone number.
