My 8949 form has a line description of "see attached statement" but Turbotx did not generate a form 8453: Why? Is there a reason I don't have to submit 8453+1099B Docs ?

Confused why TurboTax generated "see attached statement" after each 1099-B summary transaction entry description I entered, and did not generate form 8453. Is there a reason I don't have to submit copies of all the 1099-B docs along to back up the 8949's and Schedule D Turbotax generated ?

TurboTax does not create the Form 8453 until you go to the File section of the interview and select e-filing. If you don't e-file, you don't need Form 8453 because you attach the backup statements to the return when you file by mail.
