My husband turned 65 in april of 2016. We fill out schedule R for $750 tax credit. The IRS took it awake stating we make too much. Is this right? no income limit seen.

According to Schedule R he qualified for a tax credit. IRS took it away stating we made too much money to qualify for the credit. There is nothing stated/ written that there is an income limitation for the credit. Is the IRS right?

The IRS is probably correct.  There is a definite income limit if you are trying to claim the Credit for the Elderly or the Disabled using Schedule R.  Most taxpayers are not eligible for this credit due to the very low income limits.
