My passive loss from 2015 did not carry over into 2016. Where can I report this?
The loss is from investments
If your capital loss from is not carried over to 2016, you can enter it by following these steps:
In TurboTax, open your return and follow these steps:
- Click on Federal Taxes, then on Wages and Income
- Under All Income, locate the Investment Income section
- Click Show more and click Start next to Capital Loss Carryover (see attached screenshot).
