Completing HSA information and program says -  looks like spouses coverage lapsed for 202. It did not lapse - spouse is retired. Both yes and no questions answer that coverage ended and it did not - where do I show spouse had coverage under family plan and not get this error.

    Here is a way to help resolve the issue with your spouse's health care coverage in TurboTax:

     

    • Take a closer look at the question on the screen just prior to the one telling you there was a lapse in coverage (see screen shot below)
    • If both you and your spouse are covered under the same family plan, then the person with the HDHP in their name will indicate they had a family plan.  The other person will indicate they had None because the HDHP was not in their name.
