RENTAL PROPERTY SALE

I sold rental  property, never a primary residence. I indicated on the asset schedule that I sold it. Never was I asked about the sale or if it was an installment sale. Wherr do I report the sale.?

    In the rental input, navigate to the rental property asset.  After indicating it was disposed in the Rental input section, you can continue through the interview, to to enter the information about the sale.
